Today I am thankful that because it's Thanksgiving week, I have a 2 1/2 day work week before I get to go on vacation. Having worked in retail most of my life, Black Friday is usually a must work day. This year is the first year ever in my career that I get that day as a company holiday and don't have to work or take PTO for the day. It is giving me a chance to go visit my friends and Chris' family back home for a few days. We are looking forward to the trip but not to the weather. We will just have to pack warm!
After a full day today, I only have 1 1/2 days till we board the plane. The countdown is on!
